Rice, wheat flour, sooji/semolina, maida/all purpose flour, corn flour, gram flour, rice flour

Varieties of dals/ pulses- arhar/ toor, moong/yellow gram, chana/Bengal gram,masoor/mysore dal,urad/ black gram.

Varieties of whole grains-urad, moong,rajma/kidney beans,chana-is of three kinds-kabuli chana which is big in size and white in clour when compared to the desi variety which is small in size andanother kind is little green in colur and also small in sizes.

Spices-the basic ones-jeera/cumin, dhania/coriander, methi, mustard,fenugreek

Garam masala spices-black pepper corns, white pepper corns, dalchini/cinnamon, laung/cloves, small cardamom/green elaichi, big cardamom/black elaichi, shah jeera, nut meg/ jaiphal, javitri, phool chakri, tej patta/bay leaf.

English herbs and spices-thyme, celery, oregano, parsely, basil, allspice.

Dry fruits-kaju/cashewnuts, badam/almonds,akhrote/walnut,pishta/pistachios, kishmish/raisins,sultanas, khajur/dates,prunes,khurmani/apricots.

Varieties of cooking oils-ground nut oil,sesame oil, sunflower oil,mustard oil, olive oil.
